After extensive searching through pictures and FAA database, I'm still unable to figure out KCRAs tail number.

N358TV was last one I can find but appears no longer valid.

Anyone know what it is?

Well i just saw it fly by my house. Didn't pick it up on my ADS-B receiver, so i guess it doesn't have a Mode-S transponder for me to track it.

Dang. Oh well

Gotcha. That's the correct reg...just wish it had a mode S transponder, that way I can be alerted when in the area.

Haven't picked up SSD or SPDs helos yet either. Might have the older transponders too

I don't think they'd ever transmit anything on Mode-S for fear of being scooped by another station with an ADB receiver. It's a pretty common tactic for news choppers.

That may be true, but a mode s transponder doesn't transmit a position so I don't think that's the reason
