Nathan,
The State is building several new towers in Kent (one will be at least 330' feet tall) and Kent will have access for public safety antenna placement. This should nicely fix the coverage gaps for the narrowband VHF fire freqs (only 3 freqs are tower repeated so far F1 - F3 {and there are varying input tones to accomodate different existing towers in the county}....the remaining freqs are simplex). The new towers will house DNR antennas (amongst others)....and will be a part of the backbone for the eventual statewide 700MHZ system. Kent is considering joining that future system....but the last I'd seen from the County Commissioners' minutes, they'd not yet formally decided on this. I'll post something if any new freqs will be added. No word on any PL changes, thus far.
