Here is Churchill Down's DMR Capacity Plus trunked system. Expect lots of activity on this system and lots of private calling.
Anyone have any idea if unencrypted event channels will be used not just for oaks and derby but for the other events leading up?
With the current trend of encrypted channels being used, I would say its doubtful that anything worth monitoring will be on the unencrypted channels.
In all fairness, all LMPD detail channels used encrypted talkgroups ever since the switch to the MetroSafe 800 system. Same for EMS detail channels. Not sure about KSP. Traffic control was on, I think, the non-encrypted Event talkgroups and I'd think "they" would want the whole world to know where traffic was bad, so snarls would be avoided.

When I went there back a couple years back. I tried to listen to their commotion on the old analog system on the DB with my BC125AT it was really clear
