Hello friends,
I've recently taken on the task of programming radios for our local fire dept. It appears I may have bricked one of the Kenwood TK-5710 units after updating the Ignition Sense configuration.
The only change was switching the Ingition Sense Type from "Ignition & Switch" to "Ignition Only". After pushing the updated configuration the unit will no longer power up, regardless of the state of the ignition switch.
There is still power to the unit, as I can get it to display the firmware using the PF3 button and Power, but it won't start up...
Are there any techniques to reprogram, reset or bring this unit back to life?
Any assistance is appreciated!
Thank you,
John
