Hello,
I searched the forums a bit before posting, my apologies in advance if this has already been asked.
We recently switched Kenwood dealers and are working with someone out of state, they have been great but on the occasion I need a minor reprogram on some of our units I thought it would be really nice to have access to KPG-D6N (for NX-1300s) as well as 1-2 of the older KPG softwares for our older radios, I kind of feel bad shipping 1-2 radios to them to bother them with minor changes we want to make.
I see people on these forums referencing having access to KPG-D6N and older versions of KPG and have been wondering how you are acquiring access? I know Kenwood is different than Motorola and seems to attempt to limit it to dealer access but I see lots of older KPG versions for sale online just not KPG-D6N. I feel I am proficient enough with this type of work to handle some light adjustments (for example changing channel names on some AUK5s or changing programmable keys) and we have probably 100+ radios so it would be really nice to be able to do in house.
Any recommendations or am I out of luck?
Thanks!
