Good Day,
I am new to site as of this evening. I have just purchased my first handheld. I have read through the instructions and haven't figured out how to set the frequency. I tried setting the step to accomidate the freq that I need. I am trying to set to 144.148. I can't get it to the 148. So what am I doing wrong or not understanding? Thanks in advance.

I guess you are trying to use a mode other the FM, since 144.148 Mhz is not a valid frequency. Your HT won't operate on this frequency based on the step sizes in the Manual.

No but I don't think anybody would go for pirate radio or somebody not having their license. This is a great website!!!
