If you are having trouble legally obtaining software please state so. We do not want any hurt feelings when your vague post is mistaken for a free request. It is YOUR responsibility to properly word your request.

To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum.

The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.

For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

I have a TK-7360 that I have programmed a total of 3 zones into. I am having problems switching the zones and selecting which one to scan. For the "C>" key, I have selected "Zone Up". This seems to toggle through zones OK, but it is has been kind of awkward in that it doesn't seem to always switch. When I get to my desired zone and then scan, I am still hearing channels on the other zones that I have not selected.

Can someone provide some insight? Thanks!

After looking some more, I found a selection under Edit> "Scan Information". Choices are "Single, Multi or List". Currently I am selected for "Multi", so I think I will be changing this to "List"... or maybe "Single". Any suggestions?

Single will only scan the selected zone. Multi scans all zones that are checked for "Scan Add". List allows you to pick and choose certain channels.

Single sounds like what you're looking for.

If you leave the scan type as Multi, you can turn zones on and off from the scan list using the Add/Delete button. Makes it more user flexible.
