I'm in the process of "amateurizing" a recently purchased Kenwood TKR-830 repeater. With some magic hex bit-twiddling provided by a helpful and knowledgeable ham, the repeater is now programmed into the UHF ham band. The realignment process requires two very small 2-pin flat connectors to access specific test points on both the receiver and transmitter boards. These tiny connectors LOOK much like others, but after a day of chasing similar, but slightly different and therefor unusable connectors, I suspect that Kenwood produces a specific set of connectors (likely only available to dealers). There is no mention of the required connectors in the Kenwood TKR-830 Service Manual. I have also contacted Kenwood parts with no luck. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has a set of these connectors and/or knows where I can obtain them. The Kenwood TKR-840 repeater likely has the same requirement, so if you've realigned one of those, connectors will likely be the same.
The photos below are of a 3-pin flat connector in the TKR-830. It is the same type I am trying to find, except for the extra pin. I need two connectors with two contacts, not 3. Also, a SMB connector is needed for alignment, but I have that on order.
Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.
