Keep in mind that Kenwood once sold a re-badged Icom D-STAR mobile radio. Also, the TH-D74 and TH-D75 handhelds are D-STAR.

As for the TM-D750, I'm concerned. Kenwood showed this non-functional mock-up at Tokyo Ham Fair last August. The only thing "new" about the Hamcation display was a model number and a future magazine ad. Six months and they don't have a working prototype?

What was the radio they sold? I'm familiar with the D74&75 but you are saying there was a different one ?

Had never seen that likely cause it was never meant for use in the US. Thanks for sharing that. Looks to be an Icom 800 "ish" clone.
