Looking for anyone with some knowledge on the Kenwood ts-60. I purchased a used unit off of eBay and it said in the description “unit has been limited to 50W transmit power but can be adjusted back to full power buy end user” if I go into the power options in the menu (menu number 00) it only gives me the option for 10W Low and 50W medium. Anyone know how to return the high power option to the menu? I saw inside the unit that there are multiple potentiometers but I don’t want to start turning them until I know what each do. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have you tried Googling "Kenwood TS-60 service manual"? I think the service manual would help you with whatever adjustments you want to do.

Yes I have the service manual and I have read the service manual. I just wanted to see if anyone had dealt with this before. Just like to double check myself that’s all

Ok that was my first thought, I know of someone that did this to the TS-50, I'll try and get a hold of them and see what they did. they did it for running an amp which might be the case here although, I'd find that a bit surprising on the TS-60. If I find out anything I'll report back. Good luck, sorry I couldn't be of more help at this time.
