Kenwood UHF 2 way radio

I am getting this radio 40 watt multi channel capable mobile radio

Not sure of the model yet- but its free.
Anyone know anything about what model this could be- it is a few years old/

Your details are so vague that it is hard to figure out which model it may be.:confused:

How about you add to this post once you are in possession of the radio , perhaps someone
owns a similar model and can fill you in.

I'll guess it is a TK "something or other" for now.:roll:

I am gonna go out on a limb and guess it is either VHF or UHF or 800Mhz...I could be wrong though :D

I havent been able to find anything on the net about this radio-
the two links previously didnt help much- want to try to program on my own

That radio is programmed by burning a chip each time.
How are you going to get even with the person that gave it to you? :)

Unless you really want to go thru a lot of trouble every time you want to reprogram. I threw 2 newer ones out for the same reason.
