kenwood v-71a or yaesu 8800

The Kenwood V71a would be my choice, for sure. I would echo many of the reasons that others have posted so I won't repeat them here. It is a great radio and, in my opinion, superior to the Yaesu.

I went with the Kenwood. I don't know anything about the Yaesu to compare it too, but the Kenwood is very easy to use and program. I'm very new to this hobby and I had no trouble working it out in one evening of use.
