Well, just moved back to the Lugoff area after being gone for about three years. I bought my ARC XT Pro software and Uniden 396XT at the same time. I'm still trying to catch up on what's changed and what hasn't since then, as far as databases and frequencies go.
I'm a Reliability Engineer by trade and worked for DuPont all over the US for close to twenty years. I also did IT support in addtion to infrared thermography and vibration analysis. ASNT Level III in vibration and ASNT Level II in infrared. I enjoyed the dickens out of my job but got to dislike the traveling so much. Last year I was with the company, I was flying and on the road for forty nine out of fifty two weeks. That's right, only three full weeks at home that year. But nonetheless, I do miss it and the challenges that came along with it.
