Keypad

Here's a question I don't know if it's been asked yet but here goes. I bought a 92xlt awhile back and have been pretty pleased with it for what I needed it for. The only thing that gets me is the keypad labelling wore off really fast, like within a month, my SCAN, MAN, BACKLIGHT, and FUNC buttons don't say anything anymore. The 1 and 3 and E buttons are half gone as well. What has been done with the keypad on the 396 that will not allow this to happen?

Suffice to say, rubber parts are subject to wear. The replacement pads are inexpensive and it's pretty much something we'll have to live with. Backlit keys are better for this but one pays for the upgrade.
