Hi
Could someone confirm the location of the King Tower. Is it next to the Radar Site WKR on the east side of Jane street ? I drive by there every day and would assume this is the site. The Lat Long found on this site shows it downtown King City at Keele and King.

For some strange reason, a DB admin has been butchering the locations of Fleetnet sites for some time now. Many of the sites have had their verified coordinates changed to wherever somebody's favourite online mapping service thinks the site name points to. So RadioReference now tells you that the King City site is located ... tada - in King City!

In this particular case, it isn't a big deal, but a half dozen or so Zone 2 sites got "moved" to the middle of nowhere for about six months, which does wonders for GPS-based scanning. You pay for a fancy GPS-aware scanner, then pay for a premium RR membership, only to have your mobile scanning screwed up by some admin who screwed up...

I'm not sure if it's the way Google is drawing the map but the Penetang site is off of Concession Road 14.

The map seems to think it's one of the towers off of Concession 15.

doesnt look like there is a street view available, probably when you hit streetview it went to the nearest road with streetview (15th consession), thats where the error occured

Except I used the hybrid view not Street View.

I'm sure Andy's coordinates are correct.

I'm not sure the ones posted a few messages ago are.
