Is there anybody in kirkland Lake or near that would have an antenna for sale.

Looking to buy one that is about 3 to 4 feet high, or one for car.

I'm not too sure what Im looking for.

I have a uniden scanner 800 MHZ.

I also have a bc 72 xlt.

And I have the BNC connecter..

I just want to get more reception, I live in a basement of an apartment bulding.

Would a cobra 300 watt cb antenna be good to put on my scanner to listen to police, fire and the rest??

Its a magnetic antenna to put on a vehicle.

i guess any antena is better than none ,but from your basement it will work mite be some what noisy couse the frequency of that antenna is cb.
