Kitchener Fire Dispatch

Kitchener Waterloo fire dept has a dispatch frequency outside of the trucking system.

The frequency is 868.1375 and they now have a continuous digital or something sound on it.


I tryed the PL tone 131.8 on it and it does not work.

Does anyone have any suggestion on how to quiet the sound between dispatches.

I have a Relm HS 200 scanner.

new set up

it was changed last week. it is used for the printers in the fire halls so that it sends info back to dispatch that the call was printed off

Then why does it transmit voice too then? It use to transmit voice everytime the dispatched keyed her console regardless of what TG she was on including dispatching calls. There use to be kerchunking for a few seconds followed by the call being dispatched and then kerchunking again for a few seconds. I am guess this is for the Zetron system? I am sure it prints off a trip ticket for the crews but also handles voice.
