"KMD342 Fresno Radio Paging" 1960's - 70's?

Anyone recall hearing this station in the 1960's - 70's? Don't recall Frequency, but believe between 36 & 38 MHz. it was lower in Freq. than the Sheriff which was in the 39 MHz. range at the time.

All I ever heard it broadcast was:

"KMD342. Fresno Radio Paging. There Are No Calls At The Present Time."

& it did this 24Hrs/7 days week. Anyone know what years it was on and Frequency?

wow I haven't seen a reference to this in years.......
This system belonged to Don Cook at Cook's Communications, Fresno, Ca
It was an endless tape loop for paging........
What you would do is listen for the paging every so often and if you heard (fresno radio paging) then all was clear.......When they sent out a page then you would hear Pager 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ect.. depending on your number and call into the exchange.....There were no paging tones associated with this system....You just had to monitor once in a while.................................
sorry I can't remember the freq for it, but somewhere in the lower 33Mhz range..............
