KMGE ATIS Up?

Howdy all,

Jody and I were talking, and he noticed that he wasn't getting Dobbins ATIS anymore. I am aware of the new tower, and at this point, everything is switched over to the new tower. I checked Airnav, and the NOTAMS to see if there was a new frequency. Nothing in there about a new ATIS frequency.

Can we start a little thread about the new tower here-
1- If the new ATIS is up, and if it is voice synthesized (unlike old recorded one)
2- If the ATIS (if up, assuming it is) is still on the same frequency, and if someone has scanned to see if there is a new VHF frequency.
3- Signal reports on the new tower and if applicable, ATIS.

Hey Caleb and all,

I used to hear the ATIS on 269.5 MHz here in Calhoun Georgia at about s-3-5 levels. It is all gone now. Atlanta center operates on this frequency up to my north, I think NEWPORT? RCAG. It is very weak here and only can be heard with the log periodic antenna...
