I have noticed that the Knoxville EMS freqs. specifically the MedCOM 1-10 freqs, as well as two other freqs. 155.205MHz is now using a DCS of 205 and 155.295 with DCS of 155. I do not have all of the new DCS codes for the 1-10 MedCOM freqs. but will soon. I wondered if anyone else noticed this... or maybe just that their scanner seemed rather quite now (as mine did) with the WRONG type of codes programmed in. Thanks.... and good monitoring!!

Re: New Med freqs for East TN...

I would say it is because of the new narrow band Med channels and new radios being purchased. In case you didn't know about these here is a link to my webpage that shows these new freqs:

Ok, thanks for the info... I had no idea... now we need some labels/info... I am running the ARC396 software to scan the freqs. for tone data... but now I need to put the new freqs. in. Thanks again... how can we get the list in the DB updated?

All you have to do is submit them for updates. This is a nationwide addition to the Med channels, not just here in Tennessee.
I have heard Rural Metro is already using them over in Blount County.
Also here is a link of a previous thread on the subject:
