I'm new to listening to air frequencies, and I've got one that I cant figure out, and I'm hoping someone can help me...

I'm hearing tons of chatter on this frequency in the Knoxville, TN area, but I cant quite figure out what it is. It doesnt seem to be linked to the local airport necessarily (McGhee Tyson). I've identified pretty much everything that I could find on McGhee Tyson from airnav.com and the FCC ULS license search, and this frequency isnt listed anywhere.

Its definitely not an approach/departure frequency. Is it possibly an Air to Air frequency?

Most of the transmissions come in very clear, but some have lots of static.

Can anyone confirm this?

You are probably monitoring Atlanta ARTCC/Air Route Traffic Control Center aka KZTL, HI Altitude/125.925. The RCAG aka remote is located in Crossville, TN. Altitude coverage would be in the flight level 240-350 range.
