Kossuth County -Algona on the new P25?

I'm not picking up much traffic on the old police scanner. Did they upgrade since the last time I was up there?

Most traffic used to be on simplex:
154.86000
154.22000

Yeah, I glanced at it. Never noticed Algona listed. I will check again

Yeah, guess the main tower is in Burt. Gotta load up my SDR and see if the traffic is in the clear.

Algona and Kossuth Co Sheriff use the same talkgroup. EMS seems to be almost entirely using the new system but very few fire departments.
