Alright, call me crazy. KrakenSDR is 5 RTL's in one package. I wonder if I plug the one USB cable into a machine will it see five seperate tuners?

I'm pretty much thinking out loud and I'm just going to try it and see what happens, but has anyone played with it?

Drivers are pretty flakey under Windows, but I haven't tried it on a Linux box. Let us know how it works.

It works fine. It sees 5 RTL-SDRs and SDRTrunk controls them. So far on the two systems I'm monitoring its only using three receivers.

I'm using a Lenovo 11e "netbook" and aside from it getting hot theres no issues. LOL. An expensive RTL-SDR trunker.

I am using it as a collection of 5 SDRs. I haven't actually used it for anything they intended LOL. I originally bought it to use as a passive radar but they were "forced" to remove that code. I think I'd rather have the $400 back and buy a bunch of SDRs with it.

That’s what I wanted to have fun with as well. Glad I waited.

I bought into the crowdfunding on the basis of passive radar. They claim they're going to buy back the devices for those of us who wanted PR. I downloaded a copy of the PR code off someone else's github I just dont have the energy for messing with it honestly.
