Does anyone know if the CAP around the kc area still uses 148.15? Seems like i used to hear nightly nets with callsigns "bluebird xxx" but now i hear nothing and wonder if they have gone digital. Long ago heard them go out a time or two on missions where the airplanes transponder went whacky while sitting just fine on the ramp or in a hanger. Those were always fun to listen to

Yes, I've heard the 148.150 repeater key up a few times last month in P25 with that odd NAC they use. I can't recall it now but it's in a list posted on this forum. I'm about 35 miles South of the KC suburbs, for reference.

CAP does still use 148.1500 but not as a Primary Rptr. Now they use 148.1250

Civil Air Patrol - The RadioReference Wiki
All the New CAP info is in the RR Wiki, and any NEW info from current monitoring, pass back to add to the WIKI

They have the capability to use P25, but mostly use Analog
