Hey everyone,

I am programming a scanner on the KSICS system, and I am curious on the Medical Helicopters talkgroups, I see several TG's listed, but none for Eagle Med.

I live in Cowley County and the vast majority of the time when air medical transport is required from a scene or the Ark City ER, or Winfield ER; Eagle Med 11 (based in Wichita) is used. However I don't see a TG for them. Do they not use KSICS?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

EagleMed, Lifestar, and Midwest Aerocare (as well as several others) are all owned by Med-Trans. It is possible that they are sharing talkgroups.

SCKMC had back to back transfers yesterday. I didn't hear any communications from Air Evac Lifeteam (Ponca) on KSICS.20200803_171402_043.jpg

I don't believe KDOT allows any out of state units to access their system.

LifeFlight Eagle is based in Missouri. They sometimes use KSICS when they do flights over in Kansas. Their Children's Mercy helicopter does frequent transports from Topeka and Wichita.
