I have probally overlooked this question on another post, but i will ask it anyway. When monitoring KSP freq. I recieve moris code. Is this normal or can i do something to my scanner to stop it. I have a pro-2096.

You'll hear an ID in Morse Code about every hour on some freqs... it is normal activity, if you hear more than a few characters check the freq to make sure it is programmed correctly.....

In the old days, to keep the FCC happy about station identification, posts used to give out their call signs at the end of each transmission series. With the new system, the station identification is done periodically via Morse code, another FCC approved way of doing so.

It's normal, and probably happens only every 30 minutes. I agree it can be irritating, but that's one of them things you'll have to put up with, short of not listening.

Another question all ksp signals are digital, the moris code comes through as fm mode is that right???
