I heard that KJ Public Safety is now using a UHF Digital system. Can anyone confirm this?

As of yesterday SP Monroe was talking to them over 155.535/154.935. Can't say if it is digital or not.

What are you hearing that suggests this happened? Any possible frequencies? A call sign? Which vendor?

I've heard them VHF all this week as well. A guy I work with was speaking with Public Safety personnel and was told they were thinking about digital. Other than hearsay, I have no firm evidence. I just figured I would throw it out here to see if anyone else has heard anything.
