How about answering some of these PM's ! For a guy that Thur my own quote back at me you don't find any meaning to it. You mail a Base/Mobile scanner in a Envelope? Even a Bubble Mailer all the way from Canada you got to be kidding. The knobs are lose, the antenna hook-up is now oval instead of round. Common sense would tell you a box. I have no way of proving it on you or the post-office. I might have mailed my scanner a couple of days after you but I also threw in a $20.00 antenna and packed it good. If this is good condition mine should be like new.You got to use some common sense when doing things. He mail it to me that is all I can say............Ray

Sorry to hear that Kevin I know your one of many that take pride in their shipping, and your right about common sense....I hope it wasn't a BCT8 their heavy little radios.

Was it insured at all?

yea, it was a BCT-8 and he insured it for $80.00. The postoffice blames it on comming that way and the way it was packed. Nobody is going to take the blame on anything. I guess this happens to everyone and I have had it worse. I think from now on I am only going to deal with people I know...............Ray
