At Los Angeles County California → County Fire/EMS → Paramedic Base Hospital Radio System, the pattern for the Alpha Tag field is "MEDIC n-t", where n is the standard med channel number and t is a letter for the tone. The tone letters are consistent for MED-1 through MED-8 and MED-10:

A – 203.5
B – 141.3
C – 146.2
D – 151.4
E – 156.7
F – 162.2

However, "MEDIC 9-C" shows a tone of 141.3 (not the standard 146.2 for "C" channels). I'm concerned that either the tone frequency or the tone letter of the Alpha Tag on that row are incorrect. I submitted the suggestion, but @LAflyer was able to find documentation of the tone as it stands now. Does anyone have a counter-example (e.g. from an ambulance radio codeplug, monitoring, etc.)?

Correct, MED-9 is not assigned to any specific base hospital in LACo, but per a directory is available as "Secondary Base Contact" (Med-10 being the primary hailing channel)

Attached from LA County document base hospital frequency assignments as of March 2022.

In regards to 9C, I again looked and the county document shows "Tone 13 - 141.3"

‘Probably because Kern also uses it as a base hospital frequency as well. Tulare used it as a dispatch frequency until a few years ago as well.
