Are any other of the LA DOC facilities still on 154.9650 or is it just the Angola system?

Wade prison in Homer in Claiborne Parish is on 154.965...I've been trying to find other frequencies for them....I remember when the prison first was built, I was in their main office and saw their FCC license..I was the first person to put that in a scanner.
The license also had 154.98.
Never heard anything on that.

I am hearing multiple DOC agencies recently.. different PL tones for each.. will submit the Angola area stuff as soon as I get a few more verified.....

E. Hunt Correctional Center here in St Gabriel uses 154.965 for most operations on the prisons grounds. Some field units and the Tac team use 800MHz TRS radios. When I worked at Hunt we often had to deal with iinterference from Angola, Dixion and especially the nearby Louisiana Correctional Center for Women which all use 154.965 as a primary channel. Now that I don't work there I don't monitor it much anymore. It does tend to interfere with my reception of the Ascension Parish Fire Dispatch on 154.98 when I'm monitoring on one of my older scanners which have less flitering. Just as the Fire dispatcher will announce the address or type of call a Ascension Fire Department is being sent to someone at Hunt will key up and the bleed over drowns out my reception.

I still work at EHCC and the freq's haven't changed since 1988 there are some 800's but they are mainly for off compound and some rank
