LA Fed freq's with pro 96?

I was wondering if anyone is able to pickup any Federal traffic with the pro-96. I went to the db here and the first freq I tried didn't program as I am assuming it was out of range for this scanner. I didnt bother trying anymore as maybe this pro96 is not capable of monitoring such frequencies. I am aware that this site has a federal monitoring section but thought Id ask here since I am primarily monitoring los angeles. Thank you.

You can start with some federal frequencies on this site.
Start making a list on what you can hear from your area.

The only thing to watch out for on the PRO-96 with federal VHF frequencies is that the scanner does not support the 12.5 KHz channel steps. The frequencies will be rounded off to the nearest 5 KHz, such as 165.2375 MHz will program as 165.2350 or 165.2400. Don't let that worry you, it will still receive transmissions just fine.
