I just reloaded the system almost all channels on my pro95 and nothing is picking up really weird

On my XTS5000 I'm just put on all DISPATCH on scan hearing
DISPATCH 1,,5,,14,,2,,12
I'll let it scan more

I’ll let it run a little more as well if not I’ll delete and program the old fashioned way

Ok seems like DISPATCH 9 they could be working on it and
DISPATCH 12 they just asked all MARINA DEL REY units switch to LTAC

As of 3pm all DISPATCH seem fine on ANALOG

The only analog channels left are the dispatch channels, the county services internal hospital channels (you pretty much have to be in the building to hear it), the C-Tac channels, the court services channels (you pretty much have to be in the building to hear it), the S-tacs investigator channels, and maybe a few other odd ball ones.
All the L-tacs, A-tacs, mutual aids, jails, SUD and ABD have switched over to the new trunked system.

The new system being referred to here is LA-RICS (LA Regional Interoperable Communications System) which is a P25 Phase II system with many sites, some UHF, some 700 MHz. There is also a master thread pinned to this forum, it’s been alive for awhile but there’s some interesting info throughout the thread, worth a read.

can i get confirmation that LA SO is going fully encrypted???

My understanding is everything but the analog dispatch channels are/will be encrypted...

But that might change also once the dispatch channels go digital also down the road

Fully encryption is active on the digital channels (talk groups). Anything analog is still plain voice.
