The Spring Fire has apparently burned through the state's DTRS site atop La Veta Mountain between Walsenburg and Fort Garland along Highway 160.
A CDOT AWOS on the site is "Out of Service Indefinitely."

Look for a SOW to come in and provide coverage in short order if the radios are melted.
Can those with more skill than I confirm the DTRS site is not functioning?
