LAC C-130J flights?

Anyone know what the LAC callsign means? It's used almost exclusively by MC & C-130Js flying in the GA, AL, NC, KY area.

LOCKHEED test flights of new airframes or after maintanance or upgrades of equipment,they have a facility next to Dobbins Angb and use their runway.
