Lafayett HE 80 Receiver

Not sure if this is the place to ask this question and if its not, please excuse me for my error.
I am try to restore my Lafayette HE 80 Receiver and need the glass front where all the numbers are located.

If anyone would know where I might get one it would be appreciated.

That's going to be tough to come by. You might keep a look out on EBAY for a "parts" radio with the glass in tact.

My first hf receiver was a Lafayette HA- 230 that my folks got me as a graduation present in 1963.

I still see them on EBAY.

I don't know where you are located, but if there is a large hamfest with a lot of tail gaters youu may just luck out and find what you need. There is usually a lot of old antiquated equipment at these events.

Yup, just keep your eye's open as stated above. Have patience, eventually, you'll find what you need.

Hey Tassie...are you in TX? THere is a very large hamfest 10-7 in Belton, TX. just north of Austin...always LOTS of stuff.
