Anyone got an official list of the new Lafayette Type II TG's?

I have attached a Word document with the new ID's. Moderators feel free to use it to update the database. The old type I ID's should be deleted from the database.

One more thing. Once I have identified some more of the new radios, I will post a T4Win file with all the new talkgroup ID's text tagged as well as a large percentage of the radio ID's text tagged.

system fleetmaps

I have a uniden bc 780 programmed with the type 1 system fleetmaps. I presume i need to reprogram with the new id's and tags. Is there any need for the system fleetmaps to be programed with the new system. I guess i am to program the lafayette system somewhat the same as the state system correct? Basically it looks like it is the same type of system now.
Was there any other changes to the system.
Also is all of the system frequencies listed on the database needed to trunk this system. With the type 1 system the only freguencies it appears were only being used was 856.7375, 857.7375, 858.7375, 859.7375, 860.7375. I had all of the freqs. that were listed programmed, but never seen them used while trunking, Even using the cc only mode. I am not speaking of the conventional freqs. (SYSTEM FREQS.) If not all are needed then please let me know what ones i do need to fulling trunk this system. Thanks

You will need to take the old fleetmap out and change it to a type II system. You can still continue to use control channel only trunking with plan 1. You will also need to program the new talkgroup ID's for each talkgroup.

I got a PM from another member who has inside info on the Lafayette system. He said that the fleets from 10 on up on the Lafayette system no longer have the old Fleet-Subfleet designations on the radio displays. They now simply have abbreviations for the agency. For example, the Carencro Volunteer Fire Department radios no longer display 10-A, they now simply display CVFD, 11-A is now RED CROSS, and so on. The same changes have been made for all the other fleets above 10; however, I don't know if fleet 33 has changed. If downloaded the Word document I posted above, you may want to make these changes.
