Trying to understand this system. I have several area trunking systems i monitor and here them on id 49424 (f1) and id 49456 (f2), also i hear them on a conventional freq 868.6500 ctcss 141.3 (f2 according to this database). Here is the big question. There are times I hear the same conversation on the conv. freq and 49424 and there are times I might hear them on the trunking system 49424 and not the conv. freq, and other times its the other way around. There are also times i can only hear one side of the conversation on the conv. freq and both on the id, and other times i hear both sides on the conv. How does this system work?What also throws me off is the database here says 868.6500 is f2 and id 49424 is f1 but they usually coinside with each other. I don't hear much on conv. freq 867.60000 (f1) to compare to anything else. When listening to id 49456 (f2) I have not heard them on any conv. freq that is listed yet.
