Lagrange, GA TG's Changing

Tonight I discovered that the City of Lagrange 800-TRS has changed to four digit and five digit talkgroup id numbers.

This appears to be the first step in the planned combining of Lagrange's TRS into a three county smart zone.

Lagrange's system will be combined into the Columbus City - Muscogee County - Harris County, GA system.

Lagrange's FCC license already shows a second tower on Hwy 103 near West Point, Ga in Harris County.

Well........ for now I'm just running my analog 785 as Moto Type 2.

The system continues to run as a smart net system.

Strange though.......the second repeater licensed to Lagrange that is located along Hwy 103 in Harris County is not putting out any signal. I drove by today while searching 849 to 869.+ and got nothing.

Perhaps it's been turned off until it's ready to go on the air.

As I get more of the new TG's, I'll post them. I submitted a few last week.

New Lagrange TG

Lagrange, GA Police Display as " Ch 5 Patrol" new talk group 9904 is used as a TAC for patrol units.

Site 2 control channel was transmitting this morning, 855.2125. Still reported 857.7375 as the Alt, also reported Site Name as "BSCOUT", and a neighboring site was #1. I was only able to monitor for about 10 minutes before it dropped out, but did not note any activity.
