Lots of references to Quad 1 Fire on 154.325.

I know some have switched to other dispatch. I Have a report that North Chicago Fire is on this frequency still (dispatched by Mundelein)

Can anyone help clarify information on the page, in reference to ALL fire frequencies and dispatch center?

Also a reminder, there may be some information in the WIKI. It may be current or old information

Been hearing some activity on the old Antioch/Fox Lake area Police Dispatch freq of 470.5875. It's currently licensed to the 'Northwest Lake County Fire Training Cooperative', and it sounds like it's now an IFERN patch.

As far as the Quads go, I can confirm (or suspect) the following agency usage:

Quad 1: North Chicago

Quad 2: Antioch, Fox Lake, Grayslake, Greater Round Lake FPD, and Lake Villa

Quad 3: Possible back-up for Barrington? I haven't heard anything on it.

Quad 4: Countryside FPD, Libertyville, and Mundelein

Yeah, Barrington, Lake Zurich and Wauconda used to be on Quad 3. Couple years ago, Lake Zurich started dispatching for Wauconda and they moved to StarCom21. Barrington recently moved to NWCD. So, yes, not a peep on the old Quad 3 VHF frequency.
