Lake County Fire toneouts

Hi everyone,

Just moved here to Lake County and I'm currently in Schererville.

Spending a lot of time listening to their Police/Fire system and noticed they page out their EMS and fire on the police and fire freq at the same time.

Having looked on RR and the internet I found no toneout information so set about doing it the hard way.

I have the tones now btw, but does anyone know where I should post them, for the greater good?

Schererville Fire/EMS duty page:
155.565 FM
Tone A: 1185.2Hz
Tone B: 1251.4Hz

I haven't found any other tones yet, as this one took me 2 weeks to get They do have at least one more page they send out on the frequencies, that one dispatcher described as 'General', so I'm hoping they only have two. Duty, and general.

Schererville is unique, because most, if not all, of their cops are EMT's and are to respond to ambulance calls. So, when an ambulance call or accident comes in, they just simulcast it on both fire and police frequencies to reduce redundancy.

Ahh, that would explain why the cops respond to EMS calls...

Makes sense!!!

I've been monitoring it as a fire tone out now for a while and the freqs I posted 100% work. I just have to get the tone for the 'duty' tone out too.
