Been away from the forum for awhile.
I just noticed that my PSR500 is no longer receiving the Lake County Trunked system found on RadioReference here Lake County Trunking System, Lake County, Ohio - Scanner Frequencies
I reprogrammed the new control frequencies but still can not receive anything.
The system used to be MOT 800/900, now it is listed as Motorola Type II SmartZone.
I can not find an option for this type of system.
I also installed the latest DSP and CPU firmware updates.

Can anyone help me get this system working on the PSR500 again?

The Lake County system has been removed from service, and the county is now part of Ohio MARCS-IP (P25 digital). Try programming that, and if you have further trouble there is an active thread for the MARCS-IP system.

What is the proper system type?
P25 MANUAL or P25 AUTO

Is there a way to tell which talkgroups on this system are using Motorola X2 TDMA
The PSR500 can not monitor them

Use P25 Auto

No one on the System is using X2 TDMA presently so you will be just fine with the PSR 500.

Thanks
Looks like I have to start from scratch
Making a spreadsheet with the frequencies and talkgroups
It looks like the system is not complete yet
Alot fewer talkgroups than the old system
