Finally got my Broadcastify calls node up and running. It is set up with two RTL-SDRs into a Linux machine running on a 4GHz quad core processor and 8GB of ram (and a 500GB SSD). SDRTrunk is doing the feeding.

I have a Yagi pointed directly at the site off "9 Mile" between Crown Point and Lowell on Hwy 55, 3 miles away from me.

Node number is 2800.

Let me know if you have any issues. I didn't realize just how busy this site is but during hectic times of the day I've seen almost 40 calls a minute. Be sure to set up a playlist of your favourite talkgroups otherwise you'll get behind in the listening.

I've been monitoring it through the calls system and I haven't noticed any missing TGs or any missing calls. You literally hear everything going out (except crypto or TAC/C2C per the TOS).

David.

Calls node sounds great! I've been wanting a Lake County node for a while now. Thanks for setting it up!
No problem! I did it for selfish reasons at first; my Uniden can't handle simulcast especially not mobile, so I figured why not share it too.

I tried rdio-scanner but BCalls is much better.

Would there be interest in a SAFE-T node for Lake County? I have spare SDRs and a Dell Wyse sitting here doing nothing LOL.

Node 2819 is the Lake County SAFE-T site. Mainly seeing Lake, Porter and Newton counties. I can see the Porter county site from my location but I am running out of SDRs and antennas lol.
