Yes i already knew about that but how do i program them in?

The small numbers, 01 to 08, in front of the freqs. designate the exact channels in your scanner where you MUST put those freqs., starting in channel 001 or 101 or 201, etc.

I don't believe the Pro 164 is a digital scanner. Lake County Sheriff is digital.

If the sherrif is digital on EDACS, then it will be provoice and not monitorable with a digital scanner. You will need a PV capable radio or DSD

It's Analog

The Lake County EDACS system is analog, not digital. I'm sorry I don't know anything about your scanner, but if it can scan an EDACS system, you're good to go for Lake County!

Lake Co is "analog" like was said above, u must use the rebanded freqys in the 851 range in the order there printed starting with pressing PGM, choose "EDACS" system and then enter the freqys 1-8 press scan...I dont own the 164 but own the RSPRO92 which i think programs the same....Go to Mark's Scanners and i think he has a "easy program manual....

I did not read where he is from since I just used his crossposting link to answer. Lake Couty Ohio is Digital. Now I see he talking about Illinois. Clears up the EDACS issue too since Lake County Ohio Sheriff is not EDACS.
