• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

A terrific source for locating licensed radio users is the FCC Web site:
http://svartifoss2.fcc.gov/reports/index.cfm

Right here at RR you can go to the home page and click on the left side of the home page under Radio Features then click on "RR Database" then click on "CA" then click on "Lake" county to get:
http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=RR&ctid=199

That page has some agencies in Lake County with their freqs., not any codes though.

Here's a list of licensed users in Lake County with their FCC callsigns:

Just for info, Lakeport PD is dispatched by the SO and are the "2" units. As in 2paul1 and so forth. And Clearlake is all "3" units.
Also I don't see anything listed for Hidden Valley Lake, thier security is on 464.4500mhz.
