Lake County Updates?

With the Nextel Replacements I'm not to shure on what it is? Is it new freqs and sites to talk on insted of phones? Is it something that the scanner can pick up? If someone could give me any info on this that would be great. Thank you

The Lake County EDACS system has been licensed for it's new rebanded freqs. The date of switchover is unknown so far. The old freqs (like all the 866-869 freqs) will eventually be licensed to Nextel/

Just subtract 15 MHz. from each existing freq and you will have the new freqs.

From the CARMA Profile:

Current channels:
1 866.2500 3 866.6375 5 867.1250 7 867.8125
2 866.3000 4 866.6875 6 867.7250 8 868.5625

After rebanding (due to occur sometime in 2008) the frequencies will be:
1 851.2500 3 851.6375 5 852.1250 7 852.8125
2 851.3000 4 851.6875 6 852.7250 8 853.5625
