Has anyone found the freqs they use?

I've ridden it and can't seem to locate the freqs.

I have done 450-470 and 800 coventional and trunked.

I've searched FCC data base for Lake Express LLP and for Lubar Inc, the owners.

The call signs for LAKE EXPRESS LLC are:

WDB6373 (SA - Ship Recreational or Voluntarily Equipped)

WDB7361 (SB - Ship Compulsory Equipped)


There is also the S. S. Badger:

WBD4889 (SB - Ship Compulsory Equipped)

WHX373 (MC - Coastal Group)

P. S. I believe the SA and SB licenses are for the Marine Radio band.

Thanks for the input. I did find the two licenses listed and I too believe they are only for marine band.

I can not find any other listing for Lake Express LLC nor for Lubar Ins of Milwukee, the owners.

The radio antenas looked like 400 Mhz type.

I scanned for 5 hours and on board and could not detect anything.

A frequency counter would help.

It's possible that, as a new carrier, they are leasing radios and using a radio service license
