have not herd lake quivira police on the sheriffs net fore awhile, anyone know if they are
still dispatched by the so or have there own dispatch

I haven't ever heard anything on their TG, I believe they are dispatched separately and may only be using nextels since I saw an LQ officer a couple of weeks ago and he wasn't carrying a handheld radio at all just a nextel and another cell phone. I also noticed that LQ emergency calls aren't made over the JOCO north zone dispatch channel anymore either, but their MDTs must still be linked because some Mission PD officers were talking about LQ officers all being on some sort of event and i'm guessing they were getting the info from their MDTs.

I was out in Lake Quivira again today, saw the same PD officers, they are not carrying mobile radios anymore, only nextels.

Try 868.525. Looks like its going to be low power so you might have to be close to the lake to hear it. Im too far away to hear anything on it if it is in use.

they use the 2900 series numbers. i have heard them on south zone TG mostly

they also had a low power conventional 800 channle that was linked to the South TG.

have not been out there latly though.

Could you explaine in a bit more detail on what is meant on the 2900 series of numbers... Is that a series of TG numbers used in a EDAC system?

He's refering to the Lake Quivira PD units using radio numbers in the 2900s on the JoCo trunked system.
