Hi Guys I am going to Lake Wallenpaupack on friday and was going to bring my pro 95. I dont know the area at all. What is the good listening up there. What fire and police would I want??

156.150 is the county, but it very quiet.

By the way the main police freq for local pd's is 159.150----156.150 is
the repeaters INPUT

Lake Wallenpaupack is in Wayne County Pennsylvania, but is also very close to Pike County. If looking for stuff to listen to, I'd look in the radioReference database under Wayne and Pike counties. Aside from this, the marine frequencies and amateur repeaters should have some activity. Lake Wallenpaupack and its surrounding areas have a pretty decent elevation, and you'd be surprised what you might hear.

Don't forget to check the DCNR They normally patrol state parks and the Game Commission Lo-band system still very active in most areas.
