Hello, I recently got my first radio and I am trying to figuiire out what radio frequencies to put on my radio when I am on the water. I wanted to put the frequencies of the marine patrol and an emergency frequency and stuff like that.

Many thnanks, Mitch.

the NHMP uses both a VHF [159.1500 P25] and an 800 channel [Analog]
See the SNE Wiki

Nhmp freq.

The other State Marine patrol freq. is 854.4875, You could also monitor the Marine emergency channel which I believe is 156.800.

I believe the 800MHz freq was phased out, and if not it was only a base simulcast in analog. The 159.1500 P25 is your best bet, that is the state wide primary. The secondary freqs are the LP frequencies assigned to the State Police. 155.9100 CT 136.5 for the north, an 156.0900 CT 136.5 for the south.
