3 days ago I was coming up from Daytona Beach passing through Lakeland I couldn't pick up any control channel what's so ever and yes I programmed the scanner correctly.

What freq. are you monitoring the city of Lakeland Analog system's CNTRL channel changes Freq. from time to time. unlike Polk's system which never changes .

I downloaded from the DB back in November. I havent seen an update since then. I am confused now on what i did to be honest since it doesnt match the DB. I downloaded the P25 system back in the day with talkgroups which do not exist now. The other system in the DB shows that it deprecated.

I think i was confusing myself. it has been such a long time ago, i dove back into it today. It appears i had the lakeland analog setup as a p25 system (somehow) maybe the DB was corrupt when i downloaded from it. so i changed it to the motorola 800/900 mode and manually entered all of the frequencies. I immediately received LCFD A (dispatch) for a few seconds and it has been quiet ever since. maybe it is just slow?
